The Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg is investing around 250 million euros in the infrastructure of the new neighborhoods and the Rothenburgsort district via the Billebogen Entwicklungsgesellschaft (BBEG). This investment includes the construction of new pathways, open spaces and buildings, supported by other public and private companies.

The Billebogen Entwicklungsgesellschaft (BBEG) is also responsible for communication on neighborhood development. Current topics are communicated transparently and suggestions and needs of the neighborhood can be brought in through various formats. There are numerous opportunities for this.

Interested parties can find out about the development of the Rothenburgsort district directly on site and enter into discussions. Billebogen Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG (BBEG), in cooperation with the Hamburg-Mitte district office, opened an info point on the central Rothenburgsort market square for at least six months. The pilot project is always open on Thursday afternoons.

Billebogen Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG (BBEG) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the city-owned HafenCity Hamburg GmbH (HCH). The city-owned Entwicklungsgesellschaft was initially founded in 1995 as Gesellschaft für Hafen- und Standortentwicklung GHS.
