We build for Hamburg
Through the Billebogen Entwicklungsgesellschaft (BBEG), the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg is expected to invest around 250 million euros in the infrastructure of the new neighborhoods and the existing Rothenburgsort district. Other public and private companies are also involved in the construction of new pathways, open spaces and buildings. The massive gain in location quality and jobs, in living and recreational spaces and in sustainable mobility is worth this major investment.
However, getting there will also lead to changes and temporary disruptions to everyday life on site. The necessary measures will be carefully planned in advance and coordinated with other measures in the immediate and wider area in order to implement them in the most traffic-friendly way possible for all Rothenburgsort residents.
