Neighborhood development in Billebogen
Sustainable inner-city development for Hamburg
Billebogen Entwicklungsgesellschaft (BBEG), a wholly owned subsidiary of the municipal HafenCity Hamburg GmbH, is developing three new districts close to the city center on behalf of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Within a radius of just under two kilometers from Hamburg's city center, the Billebecken, the Neuer Huckepackbahnhof and the Elbbrücken Stadteingang boast excellent visibility, high-quality connections and contrasting waterfront locations.
Billebecken
A modern production site consisting of multi-storey buildings with hall, office and laboratory space is being built to the south of the Billebecken. A new riverside park will make the area more attractive. At the center is the listed former "Schule am Bullenhuser Damm", which can be used for district-related and creative projects.

Neuer Huckepackbahnhof
Central, well connected and highly visible: the Neuer Huckepackbahnhof offers the best conditions for a new piece of Hamburg. The site between Billhorner Brückenstraße and Billstraße was previously used as a freight station. Today, it opens up new possibilities for revitalizing the urban space. In future, a quarter with a planned total area of around 130,000 to 160,000 square meters of gross floor area (GFA) will be created here. An 8,000-seat multi-functional arena could become the central building block.
Stadteingang Elbbrücken
With the Elbbrücken Stadteingang, an urban commercial and residential quarter is being created on traffic areas that have become obsolete and complements the existing structures by carefully responding to them. Characterized by the future Elbe Alster, the future Billepark and the existing Elbpark Entenwerder, the Elbbrücken Stadteingang offers a high recreational and leisure value.
