HafenCity Hamburg GmbH ’s trade show presentation focuses on Hamburg’s major transformation and urban development projects. These include HafenCity, the “ Grasbrook,” the “ Billebogen ,” and Science City Hamburg Bahrenfeld. They exemplify the long-term development of new residential, work, and innovation hubs in the Hanseatic city.
A special focus this year is on the “ Grasbrook.” This new district, located south of the “ Elbe ,” is an urban waterfront neighborhood that combines living, working, and leisure. The first property listings will be presented for the first time at EXPO REAL.
Dr. Andreas Kleinau, Chairman of the Executive Board of HafenCity Hamburg GmbH:
“ Grasbrook marks the beginning of a new chapter in Hamburg’s relationship with Elbe. The refined design by Herzog & de Meuron and Vogt Landschaftsarchitekten creates a neighborhood with a unique location directly across from HafenCity. At Expo Real, we’re unveiling the first property listings—a moment for everyone who wants to be an early adopter and help shape Hamburg’s new waterfront.”
During the three days of the trade show, the Hamburg joint booth will provide a space for networking with investors, project developers, companies, and other stakeholders in the real estate industry. The focus will be on both specific property listings and long-term development prospects for Hamburg.
To kick off the trade show, Karen Pein, Senator for Urban Development and Housing, Dr. Andreas Kleinau, and Dr. Rolf Strittmatter, Managing Director of Hamburg Invest, will discuss current developments and future prospects for the city at the Hamburg.HafenCity.Talk on October 5.
HafenCity Hamburg GmbH . looks forward to meeting you in person at EXPO REAL 2026 in Hall B2, Booth 430.
