MIPIM 2025 offers an important platform for focusing on sustainable neighborhood development. 20 Hamburg-based companies will be exhibiting at the joint Hamburg stand at the leading international real estate trade fair in Cannes from March 11 to 14, 2025. HafenCity Hamburg GmbH and its Group company Billebogen Entwicklungsgesellschaft GmbH & Co. KG is a partner of the joint stand.
"We create the conditions for project developments that are worthwhile - for all sides," says Dr. Andreas Kleinau, CEO of HafenCity Hamburg GmbH. "In our four major urban development areas HafenCity, Billebogen, Science City Hamburg Bahrenfeld and Grasbrook, we are successfully coordinating and developing forward-looking districts. From 2025, new attractive locations are emerging in Grasbrook and Billebogen in particular. In addition, we are focusing on spaces that create community and infrastructure that connects. We are always pushing ahead with sustainable, future-oriented pilot projects in all areas."
Events at the stand
On Tuesday, March 11, the stand will open at 3 p.m. with a themed talk on the 25th anniversary of the HafenCity Master Plan and the topic of "Designing sustainable living spaces". Dr. Andreas Kleinau and Reiner Nagel, Chairman of the Federal Foundation for Building Culture, will be the discussion partners.
The "Hamburg.HafenCity.Talk" with Hamburg's Senator for Urban Development and Karen Pein, the Managing Director of the business development and investment agency Hamburg Invest, Dr. Rolf Strittmatter, and Dr. Andreas Kleinau is on the program on 12 March at 11:00 am. Another event with Senator Karen Pein on the "Hamburg Standard" will follow at 14:00. This shows how construction costs can be reduced, processes optimized and high quality and climate protection requirements met at the same time.
